hi guys my felly 1.3 carburator is consuming more fuel than it should these last weeks, was curious does the 1.3 carburator have a fuel filter? what issues could be related to the higher fuel consumption?, thanks in advance

i also have installed an aftermarket k&n air filter on the carburator, is it more fuel economist or beter the stock one ?

There is a white small mesh plastic filter inside the fuel inlet pipe on the carburettor but I doubt it has any effect on car's fuel consumption. If the difference is obvious and significant you better check the choke and search if there are any cracks in the fuel hoses that are leaking. I really do not know about the air filter.  

Oh thanks a lot for the reply. Well the choke seems to work fine I was curious about the carburator mixture needle I adjusted it 2 and a half turns and 900 rpm is this a good setting ?

the fuel consumption effected with many things you can review the jets of the carburetor the primary jet is 92.5 and the secondary is 120 if these jets gets larger it effects the fuel consumption also the valve clearance if they tighten more the the specified values it effects the clearances are 0.2 for exhaust and 0.25 for inlet also any leakage in the fuel path will effect.
