Hi I'm new to this site and iv just brought my Fabia vrs 2005 lovely car absolutely love it all though iv noticed my boot isn't opening at all I carnt here the motors working at all but I can here the fuse box clicking when u press the button on the key fob so I have to open it manually at the moment from inside the car pain in the neck just replaced both motors in boot with second hand parts from eBay but still Nothink any sujestions would be appreciated

Check the wiring for an internal break.

I'm going to get a wire tester to see if there is any power getting to the motors

mine does this now and then, but if i apply pressure to the skoda badge on the rear then press the boot release it opens 1st  time

When you pull the button on the boot does it not even pop open slightly?

Nothink happens at all

Get the boot open from inside like you have been, and while stood at the back watch the mechanism and hold down the boot release on the keyfob.

If nothing happens at all, check the fuse first as that more likely to go than the wiring.

Cheers Richard vrs it was the fuse which was working I can hear it working now just a bit stiff to open have to lean on the boot push the button a few times then pull it open

Mine had problem where it would pop slightly but stay locked, ended up climbing in boot while pushing button on keyfob. One if common things seems to be if the boots been overloaded at any point it tends to push the release mechanism out slightly. You just have to bend it back.

Did you buy it trade or prvt? Of its trade take it back and get them too fix it
