Wind Deflectors

Featured Replies

Can anyone give me some fitting tips for the Team Heko deflectors. The fronts seem to catch at the very front of the window and moves the deflector..

Also where is the best place to put the metal clamp things..

Cheers

I did trim a little bit off one of my deflectors as it was a tight fit. Once in place make sure the tape has been removed and carefully put the window up and leave it up for a day or so.

Should be fine after that, I've used no clips on mine.

I used a couple of clips just space equally apart, didn't do any trimming had to 'help' the window up and then left it up for 48 hours and they've been fine every since :)

Forget the clips, they are useless.

Just make sure the rubber is clean, a bit of window cleaner will get any muck off, then dry it down. Fit the Heko kit, put the window up (you may have to pull the Heko deflectors out a bit to allow the window to shut) then leave them for a day or so with the window up. This seats them perfectly and allows the adhesive to take, job done :)
