Adding usb and aux and armrest to octavia 2008 pre fl

Featured Replies

Done a few keyword searched but coming up short, can anyone point me to some threads where people have retro fitted these things to their octys?

Cheers in advance

im planning on either columbus or bolero, ideally id like dab, basically as my only extra currently is parking sensors, id like to up the spec as much as possible, cruise, front fogs, as many toys inside as possible, not in massive rush to do it all as planning on keeping the car as long as it runs

Cheers for the help so far

The Columbus can take an aux input in the CD changer plug (pinouts here: http://www.my-gti.com/529/volkswagen-rns-510-pin-assignments) and a usb can be fitted via an MDI unit which can be wired in at the same time. However, you don't really need the latter as a Columbus has an SD slot which is equally as effective, unless you also want to connect an mp3 player.
