You'll probably get more usable power from a remap.

You will need a remap to run Nitrous anyhow.

Yes ;)

NOS. :eek: Why? :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

You'll need a remap to increase the fueling to the max. Speak to Richard at Forge Motorsport.

Obviously wants to be able to spin the wheels at 90 mph as well now :P ;)

It should work fine, wouldnt recommend it for road use though, but hey, it's not my license/car :D

Why not get it remapped and the nos fitted at the same time

It makes overtaking even more fun.

An Audi RS caught fire in the pits where I was driving a couple of months ago. Under bonnet fire due to a dodgy fuel feed. When the driver mentioned that it had 4 NOx bottles in the boot there was a stampede of people running in the opposite direction very quickly! It took a marshall with a big extinguisher to put it out.

The car will last with a remap, NOS will significantly reduce it's lifespan, even if fitted professionally.

Works better on a diesel

If its for road use, then you need your bumps feeling. For the track, OK, Its your car!! Wreck it if you want BUT dont do it on the road !!

It's good for overtaking.

Arm the system, select a gear, floor it and away you go. Release the throttle and it stops..

NOS is fine on a diesel if used correctly.

My brothers old Rover 220 GSi ran for over 60k with NOS fitted (had 140k when he sold it) and was still ok.

And he ran it reguarly aswell.

Why are you all telling him not to use a nos equipped car on the road? are you all policemen??

His car, his money, his license.......

As long as he is insured then he can use it on the road.

Like shift said it be his car

NOS isn't illegal to use on the road, although I'm sure you have to have a sticker on the back, like the compressed gas symbol thing...

didn't someone on here have NOS on a Polo?
