Does anyone have any knowledge of where I can purchase the top plate for the Fabia engine cover? I have found the complete engine cover/filter box on E Bay but it's just the silver top plate that has somehow come detached and dropped down the front od the engine - between engine and fan housing and bits of it have melted.

How it managed to do this I know not but done it - it has.

Any help for a very ancient Fabia owner would be very much appreciated

If I haven't thrown it away, I have one that you can have for the price of the postage.  Took it off 'cos it rattled!

 

Will have a look in a minute.

 

If you want brand new, you could find the part number here.

Other than that i'd look in your local scrapyards.

Found it. It's in perfect condition, all mountings intact.
