well guys.....

brought my new superb home from glasgow yesterday....

all i can say is............ WOW !

feel like a friggin millionare in this thing

everyone i seen in my town last nite are ALL saying...WOW..what a stunning car m8....

and me worrying about the skoda badge to.... huh :P no fears here !

for all the assholes who slag skoda off......you guys are so much in the dark ages..... quality / refinment / space / loaded with toys....

but apart from that....EXCELLENT.

will take pics this morning AFTER i wash ehr and polish her ready for todays posing up the main street

one thing i did notice is that there is about a 1/2 second lag before the turbo kicks in...is this natural ? not bad once i get used to it

I feel some sort of performance enhancing add on may just solve the turbo lag it may have done on mine

Latest gizmo on the Superb to attack me so far .....went out this morning and all the windows are down :eek: todays lesson dont sit on your keys all the windows go up and down if you hold the lock/unlock for a few seconds

the lag isnt to bad but ..i aint never had it on any other diesel before...well...maybe i aint noticed it before.....

Are you sure you were looking in the Skoda UK website (www.skoda.co.uk) or was it the Skoda world site (http://www.skoda-auto.com)?

AFAIK the UK Superb has never has the facility to fold (part of) the front passenger seat so the person in the back can stretch their legs through - although the continental LHD one does. I don't think they do a left side passenger seat that does that - only right. Also never seen TV tuner mentioned on UK spec car

My Furby will eventually end up remapped, same engine, but only after the rest of the toys have been installed to make it match up with that extra power.

I've not really experienced the difference between a tuning box & a remap, but I'm sure both would put a grin on your face, based on reading those posts about them

in theory a tuning box will take a pd 130 to 175.5 bhp and 288.6 lbft of torque for about

having probs resizing my pics so they willfit on here for upload :confused:

I would image it's worth it on a car of that size, might even make the fuel economy better as the torque is a tad higher across the range.

I'm still saving - must admit I really like those Superbs, look very nice

fine car. The sat nav console makes the dash look great I think. Brings it way more upmarket. Love those wheels too!

But lose the metal foot mats though. They look brutal and bring down the classiness of your car. It's too boy racerish, but then if that's what floats your boat, more power to you.

the biege colored mats are way to light.,.will get marked to easy..so over mats are there to keep original ones clean

er...also putting on aliminium pedals today as well.. :eek: .

just my personal taste. dont think it devalues away from the classy ness of the car...but hey..everybody has there own taste....

Pleeeeeeease tell me where i can get that 88mph sound clip from - I need it for my phone!!

My customers give me some pretty wierd looks when my phone rings cos I always have stupid tones/message alerts on em. best one was the fart scene from blazing saddles!
