Low beam lights don't work.

Featured Replies

Hello friends,

I have Fabia 2002 elegance.

This morning suddenly both low beam lights don't work.

High beams and parking lights work fine. Fuses are good, boolbs are good too.

also buzz light on control panel don't buzz and sound, but if boolbs are dead then this light on control panel would blink and buzz,so everything is OK except low beam lights :(

Does anyone have any idea what can be problem?

Id day switch ? Or relay

Where is relay?

I dont know. Never even looked for replay on a fabia haha. Can imagine they will be far from the fuse box.

But headlight switch is easy too take out . Simply push the switch inwards about half centimeter(you till feel it push in) then rotate into headlight on position while pressed in. Then the whole switch will pull out

No relay as far as I can see. Must be switch.

But switch seems good. When I turn switch off, there is no high beams, when I turn switch on, there is working high beams and control panel light.

My grumpy reply removed by me.

See below for a much better one.  :sun:

The switch that could be suspect is the one on the indicator stalk which swaps low/high beams
