Just a heads up to anyone looking to buy a silver vrs at Evans halshaw citroen in doncaster .... Don't its a full on pile of **** to put it nicely http://www.evanshalshaw.com/search/VehicleDetails/used-car-skoda-fabia--manual-diesel-silver-hatchback-VU56XPH/ As I found out when I went to look at it ... All the drivers side of the car has been painted badly all the rubber window strips are now half silver aswell where it wasent masked up properly .... The rear bumper was hanging off and the boot takes ages to shut as it keeps bouncing back open as it not lined up ... Geussing she's had a nice smash at some time .... Engine smokes like mad maby just because it's been stood and when I went to look at it ... It had been serviced that day Apparently same date and milage stamped in the book ... But under the bonnet dident say so ... Screen wash was empty Coolant level low ..., and around the oil filter was bone dry and it's impossible to remove one of these filters with out spilling any oil even washing it with brake cleaner it still stains where it's been so i thinks the books just been stamped ... There was a few other bits but that's just me been picky .. Hope this helps someone avoid buying it x

I was looking for the vrs.its hard to find genuine cars these days. I dont trust alot of dealers for this reason. Alot of people wouldnt know what to look for on the car.

Yes it's definitely covering something I had it hpi at work and came back all clear .... I thort it was going to be a really nice motor 1 owner only 50 k odd miles and coming from a dealer it should / would have been prepared for sale properly .... But I work in a dealer and can say it means nothing these days if you don't know what your looking for .... I drove past yesterday and saw it had moved from there main pitch to there runabouts corner meaning no warranty or comes backs with it ... Probially after I told the sales man what it was like after he said a few choice words to when I said I don't want it lol ..... The price hasent dropped tho still overly priced at 5,500

Just thort it would be worth a shout out as first thing they are going to do now is cover up all the faults iv told them I found so the next unsuspecting customer will walking in thinking it all well and good .....

Cars can easily been clocked

I looked at a vrs several months ago everything seemed legit until i started digging around. It had 60k more on the vosa site than the clock said. Lol

I always look at the car as if i dont have a clue.then i start being picky.thats when the dealer hestitates and realise you aint daft. You can actually see the colour defect in photos
