Having seem some of the piccys of retrimmed leather interiors on here (mmm ), I wondered how do they do this? Cover the existing seat material? Take the seats all to bits? Fit new ones? Or what? Curious....

The seats are removed from the car, old covers are removed and completely replaced with some cow skin.

... door trims, handles and switches are removed, and more cowskin glued over the existing door covering (so the door ends up 2mm thicker than before, and more sound deadening). Then put it all back again. A retrim would be a good time to fit an Alientech or Autowindow controller if you wanted one.

I didn't think the Alien Tech was sorted for the Fabia. Wasn't Colin running with it to help them with connections etc?
