I think it was about four or five times of using the car and it just suddenly starts working again, but that's the original Skoda radio that came with the car. Your radio might not behave in the same way. Are you sure it doesn't need a code putting in it?

Wont let me put a code in and don't power on when i switch the car on like it used to before the battery was changed.

If i press the menu button a blue button lights up then goes off 10 secs later.

Cant do anything to it its like changing the battery has fried the radio

Unplugged everything even took the radio out and re connected but nope nothing just the blue light which then goes out

Hmmm, very strange. Don't see how changing the battery could have fried the radio. I found the user manual for your radio online. I'm just having a look to see if I can see any helpful info.

Thanks very much. Yeah i found it quite strange also went in working came out not working.

Was defiantly after changing the battery tho and all fuses have been checked

Can't see anything to help in the manual, unfortunately

No probs at all :)

The first thing I thought was a blown fuse but you've checked them so can't be that. Not sure what else it could be tbh. Unless anyone else has any ideas?

Bit of a strange one to be honest. Im thinking there might of been a surge when the battery was disconnected.

Im guessing its a pretty old radio as well lol might of just decided to give up the ghost like the battery did.

Still least my dash lights are all ok now fingers crossed.

This is your free and easy temporary solution for the rear door leaks.

Tried and tested by lots of people, me included. Doesn't stop the leak, just redirects it back outside the car.

That's only any good for posh people with rear door pockets :D

It's a shame Christmas has been and gone, I'd've bought you some.  When's your birthday? :sun:

September :D   Don't need anything to make an MPI any heavier though :giggle:

Carbon fibre door pockets? :D

(Someone much more talented than me) Could probably make something the size of our rear ones weighing about 20g each I should think. Trouble is they'd probably be uncheap.
