Potential Octy VRS newbie

Featured Replies

Fancy the idea of an Octavia VRS and thought I would join to get as much info as poss before making any decisions.

Will probably be posting some (potentially stupid!) questions to pick your brains.

Cheers

Welcome :orb_wave:

How about waiting for the Octy 2 vRS?

Hi and welcome teflon, I bought one a couple of months ago from a Briskoda member, they are great cars I looked at loads of options for my needs nearly went for an Accord Type R but the missus scuppered that one - glad she did though because the car I've got is very fast, practical, looks great and is almost as new despite being 3 yrs old, much more up to date than the Accord.

Mines tweaked with some

Cheers guys,

I am not in a big hurry to get one so will just take my time until one comes along that takes my fancy.

Don't really want an Octy2 or a nearly new Octy1; goes against my principles to buy new cars when they lose so much money.

Have bought quite a few high milers in the past and not had too many problems.

Badge snobbery doesn't bother me; used to have a Legacy turbo saloon when no one knew what they were and everyone still thought Subaru only made pick-ups for farmers. It was probably the best car i've owned for the money.

Have always been quite keen not to follow the herd.

Will keep you posted on my progress.

Graham

Sounds like you have one choice to make then.

Hatch or estate?

Both brilliant cars a prolly will own one myself one day.

Had mine a couple of weeks now. Brilliant car good to drive and quick :D Very impressed for the money

Think it would be a hatch.

Just like the look of them better and I have been told the boot is huge.

Yes shockingly HUGE!
