I loved it when cars all had different details in the design.

 

Much like the Rapid/Toledo this car had multiple versions with completely different front / rear ends:

Not an Opel Ascona, although a good idea since the Ascona B was quite drastically restyled as the first Vauxhall Cavalier.

 

And the FE shared a floorplan with the Rekord.

Wow, 5 of these are left on the roads in the UK.  It was 2 for about 5 years so people have restored 3 in the last 12 months

 

 

 

What do you know - there are 5 of the other version still running too.

It's bugging me now I remember valeting one as a px when I worked for Datsun, I remember it because the profile of the lights made it difficult to get the ingrained grime off fully.
