That's a ginetta g12. Used to see a few when I used to go racing with my cousin who was a mechanic for a touring car team.

It sure is - with a sprint race lotus twin-cam on board.

 

God knows why Brian (left of car) sprayed it red, it looked the nuts in Metallic blue with white stripes before.

 

His son had a race-prepped G4 as well.

Yeah noticed that after I posted. 56 was single headlamp 58 was twin

Ogle sx GT. Thanks to p6bjohn. Although admittedly I've never heard of them.

Ogle was a British industrial and houshold design group.  Built a couple of small car designs before the boss was killed in a crash involving the SX1000 which we await the reveal of here.

 

The guy who took over - Tom Karen - then designed the SX250 for Daimler (on their fugly Dart SP250), they didn't want it so he sold it to Reliant (the Scimitar).

Yes, Ogle SX GT 1000 using Mini Cooper underpinnings. Built in Letchworth and designed by David Ogle but history then as above.....
