Delivery times

Featured Replies

Hi there, new to this forum. Ordered my Citigo Elegance 2 weeks ago and dealer a little vague about delivery times. Seemed to think anywhere between six and ten weeks! Anyone got any idea based on personal experience? Am downsizing from my current car Ford Mondeo and my missus has a VW up and I have just fallen in love with these little cars!

I bought mine, and waited exactly 6 months. But to be fair, I've had it since March 2014. Not sure how the lead times are standing at now, there's been a few people pick up Citigo's on this forum fairly recently, though, so I'm more than certain they'll give you a better indication than mine - I think I was just fairly unlucky :P

The Citigo is a very refined drive, and very fun while being very practical. I love it. I'm sure you will, too. Elegance is a great spec too, and even if you get it come March time, as the nice weather comes in, you've got next winter to look forward to for the heated seats which are a blessing from above!

Welcome to the forums! :)

Welcome to the forum ,my car was built and showing on route to port for shipping when I placed the order Elegange standard car with spare wheel .13 days to dealer Picked up the car a week later. This was November 2014.

You need to find out if the car is built yet or what the build week is and if options are being fitted that adds to the wait time as well

Hope this helps.[emoji4]

Ordered mine December. Advised delivery mid Feb. Couldn't wait so we looked at the cats build available for shipping. Picked one and waited about 2 weeks for delivery. Couldn't get an SE Genentech so settled for 5 door sold white with spare wheel option. Original prefer was red with entertainment pack and city safe.

Thing is I had no car and wad commuting on my motorcycle and the trade in price offered wad subject to monthly depreciation due to Cap guide and additional mileage.

My car is the 2nd car in our house and I only use it for commuting.

Cheers guys, I was tempted to pick another car that might come sooner but my dealer did me good deal on new Elegance. Am sure it will be worth the wait. I'm getting a Candy white Citigo Elegance with sunset glass. Just got my order in before they started charging £140 extra for Candy white!!

Factory orders were 12 weeks, not sure what they are now. That was back in 2012 when I ordered mine, it seemed the norm then.

3 months they told me. But now it seems that 2.5 months as it is in production at the moment. ;-)

Wife's Mii Sport was delivered in 10 days!

12 weeks when ordered in September. Factory order.

Factory order here too. I wanted cruise control and it always mean factory order here in Finland.

Factory order, took 1-2 weeks IIRC correctly, winter pack + 14" alloys and a full sized spare wheel, think I was one of the lucky few  :peek:

Wife's Mii Sport was delivered in 10 days!

But I bet they weren't doing zero percent finance and three years free servicing and I negotiated £460 discount on my see using carwow to compare prices.

My Skoda dealer is next door to the Seat one and I was initially quoted for a Citigo SE what I thought was a good deal, went next door to Seat and they bettered the deal on an equivalent Seat Mii. Thought it only fair to tell the Skoda bloke I was gonna get the Mii. Not phased by a challenge from his neighbours next door and he spent nearly forty minutes number crunching and without boring you with the details got me the Elegance for a brilliant deal, 3 years free servicing etc and about as much as I would have paid to take the SE initially. Certainly pays to barter if you aren't bothered about the badge and you know that the cars are all the same bar a few minimal styling tweaks.

I test drove a mii but the best finance deal was on the Skoda ;) I got a quote for an SE for £8900 and approached Murray Skoda Plymouth and they dropped from £9460 to 9k.

Certainly does pay bowski.
