Skoda Fabia VRS - GTB1756 approx 240bhp

Featured Replies

Considering selling my Skoda Fabia VRS. Spec is -

110,000 miles

11 months MOT

Approx 240 bhp

Gtb 1756 turbo

THS seat sport style fmic and custom pipework

Helix SMF conversion (£1100)

4 bar map sensor

PD150 head bolts

Jetex cone filter

Piper downpipe with fake cat

Piper centre section with long life backbox

AP coilovers

Brembo front brakes

256mm rear brakes

Team dynamic pro race 3 wheels freshly powder coated black and 4 new tyres

Full leather interior

Whiteline rear anti roll bar

Powerflex gearbox bush

Alpine double din head unit

Depo projector headlights

The car is mapped by Fabooka and it's an amazing map, soft cut launch control is enabled and it's pretty much smoke free, never soots up the rear of the car or anything!!

Being it has a helix SMF it does have the normal SMF chatter but you can be sure the clutch will hold up no matter what you throw at it. Also the 256mm rear brakes suffer from common 'mooing' in damp/wet weather while reversing.

Recently machine polished. A folder full of service history and invoices! The Cambelt and water pump was changed in April last year. Recent oil and filter change again by myself.

It's a very reluctant and still undecided sale but I do ideally need a bigger car. I'll be sticking with Skoda as the fabia has really impressed me and been really reliable over the nearly 3 years I have owned it.

Any questions ask me as I'm sure I've forgotten some stuff.

There's a few members of the forum who can vouch for the car and how well I have looked after it!!

£4300

Thanks Jack but that guy is a complete time waster. He was messaging me a few weeks ago aswell. He also posted on clio sport that he wanted to buy a clio sport which had been turbo'd.

He's written back saying he's torn between the 2, he could be genuine! But the fact he was compared a clio to a fabia astounded me! After all skodas are amazing ;)

Hi Dan,

Had a read of your build thread, I'm trying to convince the wife that a cheep run round for me is a good idea, as far as she's interested its a diesel Fabia ;)

Whats the insurance sting on it? I know its different for everyone, just looking for a rough idea in price increase with all the mods.

Hi mate, fabia is a well worthy cheap run around with a fair bit of poke!

This fabia is about £690 for fully declared all mods with 4 years NCB at 22 years old.

Cheers

Regular poster or lurker? :D

Grats, lovely looking car I hope the owner enjoys it as much!

Definitely a lurker.  It's going to be mine! Just renewed my freedom membership and sure I'll be more active around here so you'll all be able to track its progress.

Can't wait to pick it up, it's a lovely car and looks fantastic in the flesh: Dan's phone camera isn't as nice as his car!

Glad you're sticking about on Briskoda Dave, I'll be able to keep an eye on what you do to it :D

You're right, my camera on this phone is garbage, smashed the screen today too! Maybe time for an upgrade?! Will be co soldering Android next time purely for camera quality!

So what's the new car? :)
