Shudder on my DSG

Featured Replies

Good morning,

I drive a 1.6 DSG and over the past few weeks I have noticed more of a shudder from 2nd to 3rd. Dependant on how quickly I accelerate depends on how long the shudder last for.

To me it feels like the clutch is slipping.

The car has 36k on the clock.

Has anybody else experienced this????

My 2.0CR + DSG has covered 26K miles and absolutely no shudder on any gear change.  My car has been driven less miles than yours but as it is a 2.0CR more torque put into the DSG.

There should be no shudder.

I would take the car back and get the gearbox looked at.

It's likely a clutch pack or mechatronics faults.

7 speed DSG faults seem to be popping up almost daily on here now!

Phil
