What size front discs on a 2006 petrol vrs

Featured Replies

Hi

I have a 2006 petrol vrs its a early mark2 with no jumbo box and green calipers

I ordered the new front discs off carparts for less.

They have just arrived thanks to ups 2 days for next day delivery. I think they are the wrong size.

I put the pagid code on the box into ecp sister site of carparts for less. They say they don't fit my car.

The code on the box is 54205.

thanks

312 mm diameter (think by 25mm). Someone will correct if I'm wrong.

cheers just a bit worried that 2 websites owned by the same company gave me 2 different answers.

I know the later mk2 have red calipers with larger front discs what size are they

They all have 312mm discs, both preface-lift and facelift standard vRS's.

The red calipers means its a diesel vrs, green means petrol.

Its very common to find websites telling you thr wrong thing. The fun and games begins when you try finding 288mm rear discs

Green calipers were used for the first few months of production, after that red ones were used.

The colour doesn't indicate a different disc size or engine variant, just the age of the car!

must just be coincidence that all the petrols i've seen had green calipers lol

My '07 vRS TFSi had red front calipers!
