OK, lets meet at the Co-op car park in Llandovery. I think it would make sense to depart at 10:15 or thereabouts, so I would suggest meeting in the car park some time before that. The postcode for the

what time are we meeting? and where exactly?

Time TBC, location Llandovery. Route details and map on first post.

Time probably be around 10:00, so that the mid point coincides with lunchtime.

That pretty much confirms an overnight stop for me, as it's 4+ hours to get to the start point. Unlikely to be camping though, as that plays havoc with my hay fever, so will book a B&B. We're looking at a holiday in that area (Brecon Beacons) in the summer, so I can use the excuse that I'm checking out nearby accommodation :)

yeah, we might have to go for an overnight stop, we are 5 hours away! lol...

I'm now definate for this and is a good chance that we will be camping also.

I'm not all that far away, but will be a good excuse for camping :)

Steve

I'll have a browse and suggest some stops for you, as promised.

Thanks Graham. If enough folk are travelling, it would be worth meeting the evening before, I'm good for that though a cheap hotel might be preferable.

I will.. off with the JMSphotographic boys so I'll see what spots they've got plotted :) check their Facebook page after the event for photos from the day ;)

Be warned, the letter from the MSA about Prohibited Areas will be strongly enforced. NADAC have put a copy of it in the Programme.

I've just realised that setting off the day before gives me a chance to pop into Stonehouse Brewery in Oswestry on the way down. It's a shame they don't do tours on a Saturday, but at least the shop's open. This day out just gets better :)

Depending on work. How do you fancy a mini meet there as it's only a short drive from me

Hello All, My Octavia will be on the road at the end of this month, my Mrs & me would like to join you if that is OK  :sun:

I'm going to have to pull out of this as tomorrow morning I have Heart Surgery and I wouldn't have recovered by the time this is on.

Sorry guys.

Oh dear, doesn't sound good. What happened?

Basically every time I apply power the entire car shudders violently and slows down, so I can only use the lightest acceleration. Think it's something to do with the fuel pressure.

  • Author

Plenty of time to fix it :)

Hopefully :)
