I'm cancelling my subscription to this topic, my VRS is looking to be headed towards the great auction house in the sky, and is likely to be replaced by a Karoq....unless Mr Ford can come up with a smoking deal on a Fiesta ST, but I suspect it's beyond financial reality!

  • You'd have to be a bit daft to think there won't be. Ford has (unlike other car makers) realised that loads of people remap and found a way to influence what people do to their cars. At least by off

  • This is my one, love the little beast.

  • Makes you wonder why so few makers do have an approved remap available. You'd think it would be better for VAG to be involved in a safe remap for it's products that just leave the door open to a mult

Front wheel drive explains the 0-60mph time of 5.2 seconds compared to the 4 wheel drive clubmans 4.9 second time for the sprint but lighter 2 seater GP3 would be quicker on a circuit.

I'm surprised those 'wheel spats' are legal in the UK.  I recall other performance cars with various bumper/arch trinkets which assist downforce, reducing dirty air, etc weren't allowed in the UK because of pedestrian safety?  When getting hit by 1.5 tonnes of metal, a bit of tupperware would be the least of my worries!

This will either be a genuine Fiesta ST rival or be such a mediocre half-assed attempt that you'll question why Toyota even bothered...

Interesting package.

Reminds me a little of what Audi should have done with the S1 .Unfortunately  The S1 was way over priced from day one and never really took off in volume terms it should have done.

Toyota Yaris GR4 prototype

Sato San is my type of engineer keep it simple (6 speed manual gearbox) and keep it light (hopefully). Could be a riot to drive as long as it's not too expensive.
