Cruise control light failure

Featured Replies

Has anyone else had a cruise control light failure on there yeti.

Noticed, this yesterday that the light comes on but is slow faint it cannot be seen.

Anyone know if this is an individual light, or will it be a cluster change.

Booked in with the dealer for this to be looked at next week, whilst doing the mot

Any details gratefully received

Thanks Richard

Almost certainly a surface mount LED. Will require specialist cluster repair service to fix.

Or a new cluster.

The dealer will probably do a final control diagnosis and if the light for cruise control lights up ok then the fault would likely to be something other than the dash cluster. They will not be changing anything internal they will just change the cluster if it's found to be an internal cluster fault.

I assume the cruise control itself still works?

Cruise works fine, the light comes on but it is so faint it can barely be seen, once or twice I've been caught out by forgetting cruise was still active.

Will see what the dealer says

It is not the brightest on the dash have you a picture of it? sounds normal .

I know it's not as bright as the rest, but it's not even visable now. :( So I'm guessing a failed LED.

Latest, Dealer is in discussion with Skoda UK, the Crusie Control light has failed and they are seeking advice as this is the first occurance of this that they have come across. They believe it will require a new cluster but want to be sure.

Latest on this, Skoda UK has asked for a full diagnostics on this, to do this its a full strip out diagnose, replace the faulty part / cluster and put back together. They need it for a full week. Worried about how many rattles etc will be there after they have done this.

Hopefully none
