Who's had an APR remap?

Featured Replies

Just wondering what people's thoughts are?

Any information you can give me on the features, power delivery etc?

Got my car booked in for the end of the month!

done APR stage 11 remap... with 3" downpipe, APR 200cell cat, 2.5" midpipe, magnaflow premuffler and end muffler....pippercross cone air filter on  2012 skoda octavia mk11.........on the dyno did 220hp....thats an increase of 60hp on the wheels...very fast acceleration from 0-200kmph, very quick......topend it did 240kmph in the 5th gear yet had the 6th.....

I have a Twincharger with a APR Stage 1 on a 1.4 TSI CAVE 178 bhp /180 PS Minimum.  & a Switchable Map.

Except it was a true 183 BHP on 99 ron Tesco Momentum & 205/40 R 17's. at 8,000 miles with Standard Air Filter.

Sometimes it is run on Hyper 250 102 ron, Mobile 1 5w 30 & Denso Spark Plugs.

It is over 205 BHP on 99 ron, and Happy as Larry.

Returns good fuel economy and performance, which is really good enough.

Does what they say.

Interested on if anyone has had a CTHE from 2012-13 on Remapped by the OBD2 by APR

I hope you blueprinted the bottom end George, and fitted forged pistons and con rods ;)

I don't think they'll need it? If they're going to go, they'll go regardless of a remap. If it's well looked after and it's a good one, should be fine?

It's a bit of banter with Georgeski. Of course it doesn't need it!

Just to point out, George knows his stuff better than most, and definitely me (and I'm being serious, not taking the mickey for once). I just choose to ignore his sensible advice, rather like a wayward child perhaps. You may take a different view to risk than me, so bear that in mind, no modification is risk free.
