South, but having my cars rear end looking like your image is pretty normal in a snowstorm.

Yeah its quite normal, doesnt have to be a snowstorm.

Just asked since I have no idea how the climate in southern Finland is :)

Never had that problem with any car (the snow on the back)

Might have to check it out next time i drive for a longer period, have the vRS and was a bit worried that the harder springs would rattle my spine to bits come winter but so far im fine!

I have not got stuck anywere in the snow either but that might be down to experience and good nokian wintertires :D

I have that setup, albeit from Travall (https://www.travall.co.uk/skoda/octavia-estate-2013-) It works really well. My Lab is 33kg and fits in OK.

These solutions looks perfect for my use.

But are there any solutions who can be used with the sunroof and\or the double floor?

The one I quoted has pictures with a VBF, guess it would need to stay in that position.

Might be worth dropping them an email with your query about where the fixing points are. Don't think it will interfere with the sunroof but best ask them.

In the photo above the VBF is set to the lower position. For info the VBF cannot be removed fully, it can either be lowered to lie flat along the bottom of the boot or be in its normal position.

Will do.

Havent even ordered the car yet. But I love doing the research before ordering.

It took me a week worth of research just to order a washer/drier combo :p

Unpredictable is the best word to describe it. One day it can be below -20° the next +5° and then -20° again...

Yes I see two drawbacks (I don't know if there are better propositions):

1) VBF needs to be at its lower and you loose the associated volume, while in fact you would'nt need the full height. I guess this comes from the fixation mode.

2) The divider is mandatorily in the middle, so that the boot is divided in two equal parts. (Seen in the instructions).

The VBF doesnt really matter for me. But it would be nice to able to adjust the divider to a 60/40 Split.

Gromle, I live in Trondheim and I'm getting my new Scout on Thursday. I just sold a 2012 MY Scout. Not sure where you live, but I found the extra clearance to be an advantage on several occasions. Also, selling my old car was really easy (sold within 48 hours of putting it on Finn) as Scouts are in great demand in Norway.

As for options, I have specc'd almost everything possible. It's the 184hp version, so even with discount it works out very expensive for a Skoda, but I loved my old Scout and I'm sure I'll love this one even more!

Im further north, Tromsø.

Will probably go for elegance with bad road. It just seems like better value for the money imo. That will give me enough groundclearance. But I do like the Scout, I just can see what justifies the pricegap.

I didnt consider the diesel, as the Dpf probably would'nt be to happy with short trips in the winter.

And there was the order placed.

We landed on a race blue L&K Estate.

Oh forgot that part.

Yeah, its 1,8 TSI 4x4 Dsg 6. And with the winter and traveller pack. And the sunroof. Did go abit bonkers with options...

The ultimate combination! You will be a very happy man when it arrives, when is it?

Wont get it until May or June. The dealer is going to narrow in the date more next week.

But as long as I have it when the summer arrives, Im happy :)
