Greenline Remap

Featured Replies

Hi. My warrenty is up in March and I'm considering a remap. Just wondered if it's worth it in such a small/economical engine (1.6 greenline)? Any people with current or past experience willing to share the wealth?

is it turbo charged if so defo yes

My 1.6tdi is currently mapped to 150bhp and soon to be nearer 200 when the turbo us upgraded in a couple of weeks so I'd say yes :)

Thanks for the replies. What has your map done to the economy levels?

Surprisingly in normal every day driving it improves it, though that's not the reason for doing it. Both of the last two Octavia's I had remapped and they were no worse, and heck of lot quicker.

I've posted an ongoing review of my 1.6 Yeti Greenline.  Check the 'Shark performance' area or 'Yeti.'

Nicer to drive, pulls better uphills in 5th.  Although Maxidot (2) is stating 53mpg after 160 miles.  It's settling down a bit from the initial 70mpg it registered.  Lots of urban driving unfortunately.

Either way, I might be back to square 1 on the mpg however I have a much easier driving experience.
