Hi .. I have a 64 plate octavia vrs, I have it set to Blip for locking , I feel sure it blipped once for lock & twice for unlock now it makes no sound for lock but blips twice for unlock .. should it blip for lock ..??? ...  if this make sence.. :thumbup:

It should blip once on lock. Usually it doesn't because something like the boot isn't properly latched or closed. Check all doors, boot and bonnet.

Maybe a silly question but are all the doors, boot, bonnet, windows, sunroof, etc closed properly? Somebody on here had another issue which turned out to be one of the doors not fully closing (although it looked closed). Can't find the thread now.

Are you using the same key, some settings are key specific.

Thank you .. Yes it was boot wasn't shut properly .. The other half didn't shut it properly ..
