does anyone know if its poss to add this so it shows in the maxi dot 

I think Eddie did it - see his build thread in the members cars folder.

It does not work on my 2011 Superb Greenline. I can find the function (using VCDS), but it does not accept the coding to activate it.

where was the function shown ?

I have been playing with this off and on. You need a gateway that supports it (or get it flashed with the correct software), but it seems also your cluster needs to support it...
