Ahh right. One of those places. Can they also look at slightly bent ones?

I've no idea tbh mate. I presume they're just a powder coating company who do lots of wheels because they're quite cheap. They offer a day turn around on your wheels if you leave your car there, we booked in 2-3 weeks prior. We took 2 cars that needed to be done and 5 loose wheels and tyres. Agreed price was £535 came to the end of they day and they wanted £560 which was a major issue for me as I didn't have the extra cash luckily one of my mates bailed me out but was a dodgy setup going on!

  • Still can't believe you got rid of your Fab for one of these! As others have said, it's in the best colour and I do like them, but couldn't go from a PD lump to a CR.... Unless this is a PD?! (I don

  • Boo, this is going to be up for sale when I get back off holiday. Alex's 2260 fabia has tipped me over the edge and I'm getting another fabia!

  • Good news! I'm keeping this! Fitted spoiler diffuser yesterday and also de-badged and removed the 'shark' stickers from the rear as the shark map will be changing soon Got 2 new tyres to fit on th

Next plans are for an dpf back exhaust have the EGR delete fitted then probably the stage 2 shark software. Makes sense to get the EGR delete software and stage 2 software at the same time as it'll save me £100!

Looking good Dan. When are you next this way?

For another couple of hours then I'll be back up Ruthin way for about a fortnight!

Black grill changes everything.

Smart touches so far Dan.

Really coming together Dan.  Front discs look a bit puny though :D

Looking great mate. The wheel colour suits it well

Wish I had a decent camera, sits so much better than my fabia ever sat already IMO. Few more little touches then I'll be happy with the looks!

Nicely done already Dan! Have to agree you've got it in the best colour! I think a nice 2260 from Xman would go nice on it ;)

Already exchanged some emails, something for the future maybe :)

I would love to see that! Although no doubt it'll all add up and you'll be in the same boat as the Fabia, Ill keep my eyes open for the stage 2 for now :)

EGR delete on the way as it chucks up an engine mgmt light now and again which is EGR related. Then I'll just need a dpf back exhaust and can go for another map. Was going to get the shark uprated one but I am thinking of saving a little more and going custom to be honest.

Wheels being refurbished next Tuesday by city powder coat. Got a new fog light and a few other bits and bobs on the way.

Love the car so far! Much nicer to drive than Fabia, just munches miles like its nothing! Just bit dissappointed with the map the last few days. There's an occasional stutter in the Rev range too which is there as standard and also in this Shark map but I think shark have since done an update to remove the stutter.

Does the induction kit make much noise?

Does the induction kit make much noise?

It's mostky loud at lower rpm and chatters when you let off.

What have u done with the small hose that's fitted to the standard air pipe work?

What have u done with the small hose that's fitted to the standard air pipe work?

Bought a small 90 degree 5mm connection Jose off eBay and made a small hole in silicone hose pushed it through then connected the vaccum hose to that.

What have u done with the small hose that's fitted to the standard air pipe work?

You can just leave it to atmosphere, as its only a vent for excess vacuum, it only goes into inlet air pipework so you can't hear it if it vents.

Approx 24 hours till EGR delete and map upgrade!

No more pd170 stutter!

I'm following this one with interest now too, Like what you have done with it, Does the homebrew induction kit not allow more of the characteristic PD Diesel clatter out?.... can you here more general noise at idle?

Will keep an eye out for you Dan. Won't be hard to spot a blue VRS leaving a cloud of smoke behind pmsl

Hmm tempted to get rid. Quite fancy another fabia. With more power and less money wasting than I did on the last one!

Haha, the power of the Fabia!! Thought you'd miss yours

Oh really!?

What's the reason, Dan?

Blame Alex_e3.

I drove his fabia with that 2260 fitted. Jesus Christ I can't get the thought out of my head ever since!

**** you Alex :(

Don't forget the diff :)

Can you get a suitable gtb for the Octy?
