Anyone know Registration OY60LSN?

Featured Replies

Hi people, going viewing a VRS at a dealership on Friday and wondering if anyone has owned the reg above? If so can you shed some detail? Paul.

Maybe trundle through the vrs register and see if theres a pic on there? On the off chance?

registered 01/09/10, MOT expired 16/10/14 so maybe they have had it at least 3 months & road tax due from 01/10/14.

Cheers guys, I've searched through the register but can't see it and I've also checked the dvla.

I plan on doing but the car is 100 miles away so would of rather known about the car before I go to see it, I'm planning on taking it Friday if all is good. The main thing is its engine got replaced in 2011 so that's a good thing.

Sounds promising.

Any other warranty work?

Thanks for that dvla page. I was away to pay £145 ved and decided the DD monthly would do and pay in the drip for all the extra it costs. Nice and easy as well.

do not think that coz its had an engine replaced its a good un, still speak to previous owner before committing, mines had an engine replaced and now after 20k miles its as bad/worse than before

No other warranty work since the engine replacement in 2011, has full service history and has had its major service in august. MoT has expired a few months back but will come with 12 months MoT and 12 month warranty.

  • 3 months later...

Is this the car you bought that is now getting a replacement engine?

It sure is, all covered under extended warranty thankfully.

That is good.

Back in 2011 it probably had a Short Engine fitted and not a Complete Unit as you will be getting now.

Strangely they said it already had the breather mod done when I finished the first consumption test, so once they discovered that is what straight onto the sprays. Luckily enough I'm working away for the next 3 weeks (they've already had it 2 weeks) and not needing a vehicle so it couldn't of happened at a better time, hopefully it'll be done by the time I get back from holiday on the 12th of June.

If it is being done under the extended warranty then the Engine will have a 2 year warranty.

Is it the Skoda Approved Extended Warranty from Car Care ltd?

Yes it's being done under extended warranty and is skoda approved.

Wonderful.

Enjoy it when you get it back.

So they should be getting the very latest up to date version from VW,

The Oil Spray Jets, and then updating the ECU.

Be sure that the Cat has been checked and any other replacement parts.
