Estates arriving at dealers now!

Featured Replies

It was a PCP deal, £215 deposit and £215 a month and the Ibiza was £200 deposit and £195 a month.

thanks. Was that from seat uk or a dealer?

A Seat franchised dealer for one and a multi-franchised VAG dealer for the other, Arnold Clark had some good deals on the Seat Leon ST as well but that was just base S spec.

ok.... So could you share which one? It's for a friend at work. Thanks.

I think it was Pulman Seat, Western Seat and Arnold Clark, all based up here.

When I've checked Arnold Clark, the Leon was only S spec but the others have offers on the SE and Ibiza FR. They're all based in the North East with the exception of AC as they have dealerships nationwide.

Just been to the dealers today, they had 2 x hatchbacks and 1 x estate to view, they look really nice and yeah, there's no soft touch plastics but it all looks good and is well put together inside.

No go on deals at the minute, not for me anyway, been advised to wait another 4-6 months when the Q2/Q3 deals filter through and I have more equity in my Monte as I'll have had it 2 years by then.

They had one current Fabia Black Edition estate left in white with the heated seats and Satnav/DAB which was VAT free but I'll hold out for a Mk III SE estate.

They only had a 90bhp diesel hatch to drive so didn't bother testing it as I only want a TSI estate but, in the salesman's words, ' For the daily mileage you're doing you'll have nothing but hassle with the DPF so I'd stick with the petrol if I were you '.

I'll stick to my initial plan of looking around May/June time and should hopefully have one then.

PS. My son came way with loads of Fabia freebies and they had the Fat Hippo street food hut cooking hand made burgers and fries for customers so we had a lovely lunch for free as well, yum.

Ordered a 1,2 110hp 6 speed moonwhite estate with black wheels a week ago. :)

To be replacing the MB - and delivered in May....

The local dealer had a 90 hp hatchback and a blue 110 5 speed estate for test driving. Unsurprisingly more oomph in the later,, but I really want the 6th speed for motorway driving.

So, looking forward!

Had an update on my estate:

Provisional build week of 23rd Feb, a few weeks sooner than expected, but I know that can change (was messed around over 6 months with my VRS)

So hopefully may have it by the end of March, but we will have to wait and see.

looked around an sel estate today, quite impressed with it, like a miniture version of my vrs octy estate, considering byuing one this summer if my vrs keeps giving problems, but will first wait and see what improvments and upgrades the spaceback gets

i had a ride up burtwood skoda did not have much time to speak to the sales chap but he did ask me wot would i like

i said the photo in the brouhcer page 37 with the 17s clubber alloys silver rails white in colour with black windows

he started to say you can't have the clubber wheels there only for the hatch back only i can,t have the onyx/gery with the white

dash cover and you can,t have the panoramic sunroof on the estate i said why do they put a photo of the estate

with everthink on it if you can,t have it i was not pleased aim realy thinking of buying somethink else now

I just ordered an estate/combi with 17" clubber  so it is definitely possible. Regarding the dash, I think I could only choose onyx but that was because I ordered the "sport package" with sport steering wheel, sport suspension and sport seats. You should try with another dealer, this one sounds like he does not want a deal

Cars in Sweden are quite liable to come Standard or with different options from the UK,

just as cars in the Republic of Ireland may be different from those that Dealers in Northern Ireland can order, ie the UK Specs.

aim going to skoda wolverhamton skoda they have got a red estate in. so i we see wot they say i was not very happy with burtwood  when you spendig 15.000 pounds you

would like the car you wont all the dealers are is intrested is you signing on that dotted line

The dealers I went to, the same one I bought my Monte from were fine, he based the deal on a white TSI SE estate and whilst a deal was to be had it meant me putting £1k down. He said it would be better to wait until he can offer more discount on the estates and I'd have enough equity in mine to eliminate the need for a deposit. Q2/Q3 he told me to wait for.

True, though regarding the clubber wheels they are add-ons and not standard in Sweden. One difference between UK and Swe, we get electric windows as standard!!
