57 plate VRS buying guide - price check

Hi,

I am very interested in the VRS models. I am looking at a late 57 plate (Dec 07), metallic blue with 55K on the meter, 18inch wheels. Full history with 6 stamps and cambelt changed at 48k.

The dealer is quoting £6600. Is the price too high for a 57 plate? 

I think the vehicle has 2 previous owners, however I need to cross check with the dealer. 

My budget is around £5,000-5,500, what would the best model/ mileage to look at for my budget.

Please advise.
