Traded my Octavia VRS in today for 2 Fabia Monte Carlo's. Pretty amazed by how well they go for such a little engine.

Bought a 61 plate 1.2tsi in white with Bluetooth, maxidot, rear sensors, electric windows all round, climate control etc. Really looked after, immaculate for age. Car Reg is WR61 RWU If it is anyone's old car on here? They said they had traded it for a VRS.

Also bought an ex demo 14 plate estate in red with the 1.6 tdi. Goes well too! Bit agricultural sounding but it's for my wife, so her car! It's got the sat nav and rear sensors.

Really pleased with both purchases, shade under £17k for both cars. Pretty impressive I think!

Her one won't be touched at all! Its plenty for her.

After warranty runs out I might start playing about. See what we can do. I like it though, feels better put together than my octavia did!

They also threw in 2 full tanks of fuel, mats for both, years tax and they're delivering both on Tuesday.

Dealers customer service was out of this world.

The 1.2 tsi is good, the diesel is just as good if you're doing the miles IMO.

Can't recommend my 1.2 tsi enough, such a nice car and engine, definitely feels faster than a 1.2 and quite fuel efficient

Congrats on the purchases! There is a red monte estate near me which I think always looks very good.

The red one was a bit of a last minute decision. I didn't want a diesel, we don't do the miles for it, however, if we can keep the dpf happy then it's all good.

I love the montes in red, best colour in my  opinion. Great car. Good luck.
