What size wheels will fit a Oct Vrs

Featured Replies

wanna get either RS6 or S8 Alloys for my oct will 19inchs fit ok or be too big my mate has 19s but has coilovers on i think. anyone got any pics of 18s or 19s on a vrs

cheers

18's will go on easily with no problems.

19's will go on but need the right tyres, there are mixed reports of rubbing, think it can depend on the shape of the tyre tread you go for.

dont be a pws get 19's but everybody seems to have the audi rep wheels, go for something differant!

If you've got the cash its got to be 19s - make sure you get espensive lightweight ones though!

If you're a bit strapped 18s will do just fine

well smart! doesnt really need lowerin what size tyres onit? does it slow it dwn the big wheels? whats the ride like?

I don`t think it looks too high i`d just like it a little lower  the tyres are 225/35/19s and they don`t catch even with a car full of fatties but as for the wheels affecting the acceleration and top speed then i don`t really know to be honest,i suppose they are quite heavy and could slow it down but the car still feels quick enough to me :D and the handling doesn`t appear to have been affected but then i don`t really push it too hard or go on track days so its hard to say,i`m more intrested in how the car looks than how it handles at high speed though ;)

Yes i like RS6 rims and they look good on the octy, there are some members with them in 18s but don`t think anyone has them in 19s,go for it

Ill be selling my rs6 18 x 8 pretty soon if anyone is interested.

They won't fit, you need 100 pcd as opposed to 112.

I've been running 18" RS6 reps for the last 18 months. They look great but I've binned them and gone to a set of 17" BBS Rx's. From my experience there seem to be some real quallity problems with replicas and I wouldn't waste my money.

If I keep the Octy I'll probably stick with the 17s and go for a bigger drop (currently stock suspension) to improve handling and fill the arches better.
