I'm glad I've ordered one now.

Definitely feels good to drive. Plenty of torque but not that much power. Very linear torque curve once on boost. 0-60 in manual needs 3rd but could be a quick car 50-70 because of wide torque band!

Quiet and comfortable. Didn't test limits at all so not sure how it is.

Easy to park and plenty of visibility reversing. The screen giving a parking sensors eye view is good feature.

Just got to wait for mine to be ready!

did you think the gear stick was a bit cheap when switching gears? seemed more like a plastic stick than a quality piece of machined gear..

gearbox motion was fine and light. clutch was fine too(haven't driven a manual for 6 months and that was a 1979 mini)

 

the knob itself i would expect to feel a little cheap. im sure there is a selection in halfords to pick from if a replacement is required

                         I'm with you, I'm also waiting for my Estate 90bhp, probably Friday.

 

Power or torque don't mean much to me; in simple terms, the MK3 seems a better car than my current 1.2Diesel estate.

 

Screen giving view of parking sensors? Wow, that'll be good.  I wish my new car had front sensors, but apparently they are only factory fitted!  Is that right?
