The lower front edge of my door has started fouling the body. Presumably the door has dropped a little as it lifts slightly when the door is closed. How can I adjust the door so that it no longer rubs against the front panel when I open it?

Get a friend to hold the door while you loosen the bolts. Then get your friend to slowly pull the door up/higher and then hold while you re-tighten the bolts. Best to put some masking tape on the painted surfaces in case they touch as you are adjusting. Make sure they gap is even. You can check this by going to the other side of the car and seeing.

It's not that hard but best to have someone to hold the door. Or you can use an axel jack and block of wood.

Good question. Generally speaking it should be body bolts. But if you see any signs of movement in the door bolts ( difference in paint/scratches/honing/scoring ) adjust them.

Have you any idea what heads these bolts use? I don't have anything like them in my kit. What happened to good old hex heads?

Looking at the location of the hinges on the body the only way I could get access to them would be by removing the door as the front edge of the open door still covers the bolt. Have I missed something?
