boot badges

Featured Replies

When I got my mk2 I Dr-badged the back and have since also changed the logo to the new style. I'm thinking of putting the "skoda" and "Octavia" back on. But I can't remember what went where, I also had a bar badge that said 1.9 TDI.

Also with me updating to the new logo badge I'm contemplating using the new style font on the skoda and Octavia badge. Has anyone got pictures of what this looks like on a mk2.,

Part numbers and prices would be good as well if anyone knows.

Thanks in advance

It's not the logo I'm after, already done that. It's the new font that says skids and octavia I'm after.

i dont believe there is one that says the word "skoda" just the "octavia" and the chrome bar that has tdi etc in, ive recently debadged my tailgate also mine only had badges on the right side

All MkII Octavia's look the same from the rear, in fact the only way you can tell whether it is a facelift or pre-facelift from the rear is via the tail lights (clear bar in between the reverse lights and indicators), the font of the boot badges and addition of the red reflectors in the bumper - therefore you can just use Google images for any post 2010 Octavia...

Sorry, my bad. I've not seen any MK2's with MK3 lettering on.

You might be best with some bad paint skills like this, I suspect the skoda and octavia lettering is slightly too big but it should give you an idea.

Love the old VRS Roy, is that the one I did the cornering fogs on? There's still something about Race Blue.............

That's the same car you worked your magic on Mike!

I understand it lives down in Coventry now, it's fog lights still winking away!
