A Question about vRS DRLs

Featured Replies

My O3 vRS has recently been in for an indicator stalk recall to have them replaced with a less combustible version  :sun:

However, now I have it back I am questioning myself as to when the DRLs turn on.

Could fellow Briskodians confirm if when they open their vRS with their keyfob, do the DRLs immediately turn on in bright daylight? As mine do not.

Does having the auto headlights set to Auto provide any difference compared to having the headlights set to Off?

I could have sworn mine turned on with the keyfob, but now they only come on when I turn the ignition on.

TIA

Headlights need to be on Auto for unlocking lights. You also need it enabled in the settings as well I think - it's possible they reset all the computer settings when they put the new stalk on as a matter of course.

No drl in daylight. Drl and headlights at night as long as switch in auto position.

Really so, you're telling me you have no DRL (Daytime Running Lights) in daylight.  I'd take it to the dealers if I were you, quick too.

I think his point was when you unlock the car it has to be night time for the lights to come on.

Yes we are talking about when car is unlocked n no need to take it to a dealer if their was ever a problem I work at one ...

DRLs on constantly when ignition is on....

'welcome' lights on when auto left on.... really helpful when dogging.....

Lol!

But do the DRL's or fog lights come on in the dark?
