How do I?

Featured Replies

Blur the background on this picture? Leon isn't online so can't ask him. I need the cat to be sharp still but the background blurred, or even changed and blurred slightly. A how to would be excellent  I'm trying to put together a few photos for my parents and the house in decorating isn't a great background.

Thanks.

My girlfriend calls him 'Hilter' because of his moustache

Cattitude surely :P ;)

Just a thought, but you could have a look at PhotoFiltre. It's a free program which offers many different framing backgrounds.

It comes recommended and free of spyware. I've downloaded it, and it's relatively easy to use by comparison with Photoshop, though I can't say I've had enough need to get to get to grips with all of its options. It comprises a basic program download and options to download various other frames/backgrounds.

Just downloaded that on Mo's recommendation. I may use that more often, look what I did in just 2 minutes!

Needs to be redone, but thats exactly what I'm after, thankyou. Makes it so easy.

Download picasa 2 from the internet for free. It has some brilliant tools for altering pictures.

Hi In photoshop you first select the cat then inverse selection then use gaussian blur tool on background. killy7236.attach

and I think it would be better if you also crop it7250.attach

Hope this helps..

7237.attach
