Some-one seems to have swapped over a few of the key tops on your keyboard. :notme:

Cry octavia and let slip the cars of War!

42!

The answer is definitely 42.

A tabby, or a tabby-white should be achieved if driven sensibly

Perhaps a ginger tom.

Hmmm wierd post but being considerate of the fact the OP probably doesnt use English as a primary language and suspect he is asking about claimed vs real MPG for a 2.0 TDi I'll chirp in.

150 TDi manual estate.....claimed 67mpg, long term average on mine with 18.5k miles on the clock is bob on 49mpg according to the computer which does seem pretty accurate.

Does see low to midding 50's on most half decent runs though, the remaining short trip and DPF regens hurt the long term MPG a bit I think.

Is definitely improving with the miles and I dont have what Id consider to be a particularly light right foot.

In EU units 5.8l/100 km

Sorry chaps too many beers last night. It's a 2.0l vrs tsi lol.

I do 90% city driving and am getting around 26-29mpg in mine. But it's just under 3k so possibly may loosen up a bit.

Can see 30-35mpg on the trip computer on free-flowing motorways and dual carriageways though. So has the potential for something better if you have a different driving life.

Someone on here posted their accurate consumption over quite a few miles for their 220ps TSI and the average was around 27-28mpg.

It will get nothing like its 45mpg combined mpg unless you nurse it around in Eco all the time and do nothing but long runs. You might be lucky to see low to mid 30's if you drive it with some serious restraint but lets face it a 220ps 4 cylinder turbo petrol isnt going to return staggering mpg figures anyway and you wouldnt buy one for great economy.

You will get about 27 -28mpg in Eco mode about town.

Short journeys  then yes 26 to 28 mpg, longer journeys say... 14 miles or more even find through central London I usually creep up to around 30. If it's over 20 miles and I drive very very sedately ( which mostly in town I do) I've hit about 34 mpg.  On decent runs on the motorway and a roads I average nearly 40 mpg ( eg, crystal palace, through town to m1, then m1, m6 and then a51 to Chester is 200 miles and although the trip average is often above 40 as I exit the motorway a bit of spirited a road driving and accelerating out of round abouts and 30 limits brings the average down a little). I've never hit 40 mpg over a whole tank but did get close in the summer). 5300 miles in, 75% motorway and a road, the rest town, my average is about 36 I think. It's been much lower in the cold weather.

So as I said, a tabby- white if driven sensibly. :D

Tsi vrs, manual hatch.  Oh and motorway cruising, mainly around 75 mph, but short sections quicker to relieve  frustration after sections of 50 mph average speed checks.
