For me its vw golf sportsvan. 2015 model. 1.4 122(?) Psi. 92kw. 6 speed manual. Built in wolfsburg germany. And im not only one with the problem. Other golfs suffer aswell. So does fabias. Since its so new model there arent any topics about it yet. But my dealer contacted the factory and factory said that they have some new car with the same problem coming out of production line and they are under investication for the solution. I dont give up yet. Fix it or replace the car ive told to the dealer.

Instead of Volkswagen Investigating and taking months doing it,

Volkswagen maybe need Investigated,

or is it the Dealerships receiving cars and how they change them from Transportation Mode to the PDI and delivery.

It is really a case of taking what Dealership Tell you with a Pinch of Salt.

Then check yourself with the VW Corporation & Customer Services.

?

Have you got a Contact with VW Germany and a Handler dealing with your case,.

and everything in Writing from VW Germany.?

Rather odd a new Model with issues and no topics in this day and age.

Have you any links to other forums with mention of how Volkswagen are dealing with this fault.

&

Any to the Problem also being in the All New 3rd Generation Fabia, other than what a Dealer told you?

Dealer is on my side. Dealer is contacting the factory and told them im not satisfied with the car. They did try reset the software. Helped abit but didnt solve the problem. Went back in next week to get reading. All this becose vw asked dealer to do it. The factory told that whole steering rack needs to be replaced. Apparently its some software issue for me. Becose some kind of steering module (theres plenty of them on the rack) is getting wrong information about battery. Apparently the battery voltage drops belove required minimum and gives me errors. Okei got steering rack replaced. Worked flawlessly since today morning. We had small freeze here couple of nights ago. When i went to start up the car on the morning there were no errors nothing. With old steering rack i got immideatly errors and rev/gas gauge bouncing. Today morning there were no cold temps. And boom got errors again but without gauges bouncing. I researched the problem and ive found that golf, golf gti, golf R, golf sportsvan and new fabias suffer same problem. Dealer told me that they have 2 demos with same issue and also couple of customers who drive mk3 fabia. Im gonna search from seat forums today aswell. For me it looks like vw even doesnt know whats the cause of the problem is. Right now seems like they are quessing whats wrong and suggesting to change parts which may cause the problem. Im sure the solution is stupidly simple but vw dont get it yet. Will keep updated. Im very happy with my dealer tho. The warranty manager is pushing hard the factory to get a fix for the problem

So you have no contact with VW Germany HQ?

Nothing in writing, no case number or handler?

That is often a Problem and why issues and faults are said to be few and far between,

or 'We have never heard of that before'.

Best get a Email off to VW, get a Reply and then a Contact person and talk through the issues.

..............

No idea if Dealerships in Estonia are as honest as the day is long,

no Employee ever messes up,

but in the UK they are often liars and frauds and all they bother about is the Volkswagens Reliability Reputation,

while they are the reason that it is not worth the Advertising they use.

Here is an example for you.

5 years this engine has been built in 2 forms as a Euro 5 Emission.

Failures from 2009-2012. then 2012 to the present.

Volkswagen have never admitted to faults, Dealership Employees are always saying that the factory is looking for a solution.

2015 and they still have not done that, or done a press release to make an apology to customers that have

been affected, no matter how few that might be.

Any email link for the vw customer service ? Well my dealer is good enough. Never let me down.

Sorry but you posted mid February and it is now April.

They actually are letting you and as it seems other customers down.

But if you are happy for it to drag on while just warning others,

then that is how Volkswagen like it.

VORSPRUNG DURCH TECHNIK

VW Factory Team Drivers can drop a Polo in a Lake and it is there for hours,

and back driving the next day.

Maybe VW should get some decent engineers on the case of Customers cars and faults.

It should be rather easy with all the Tech at their disposal, and then off course the training.

Will see what dealer have to say. If they dont have any fix available now i will reject the car. Its not my problem that vw have problems. Not caused by me. I bought a new car for o e reason. Not to worrie about all kind of problems. But no.

went to dealer yesterday to get error code. They are same as with old steering rack. And today morning i got the errors again. Happened twice already with the new steering rack. Dealer sent email to factory what the further steps will be. If the car is faulty (Which it is in my oppionion) do i have right to reject the car ? Car is 2 months old with 2000 km on the clock. Dealer have had tried to repair it twice already. First reset the software, second time replacing whole steering rack.
