Anyone going to the Autocar Sideways Challenge at Silverstone this Friday morning ?

May give you some tips for the Briskoda National Meet :eek:

I reckon a certain M3 should go very well there having been with the driver yesterdayalthough it's hard to be a good 4wd rally car on forest tyres for "driftability" on tarmac :D

The Japenese have a whole championship for this type of driving and there has been an event in Germany for the last 5 or so years (Drift round the Sachs Kurve @ Hockenheim....) so it's good to see we're getting a chance here ~ shame it's not on a weekend though :(

unless we have some estelle owners it might not be the event for Briskoda... octy's dont seem to manage power oversteer.....:(

There's always the handbrake..... not sure how long the bend is.... fit bald rear tyres and pray for rain

Do it backwards? Would be very lairy, though probably not that easy...

Spray the rears in diesel.....

That'll be popular with the fellow competitors. Nice diesel stripes around the track. Bit of drizzle and it would quite easily turn into a 360 competition. :D
