Had a bit of a last-minute trip up to Silverstone yesterday, mainly practice & qualifying but also 3 races at the end of the day: Ginettas, Mini Coopers S's and GT.

The GTs were great, especially the noise from the Morgan - all the Ferraris, Porsches etc all sounded like angry wasps but the Morgan was something else, more like a old fighter plane on steroids.

Unfortunately it turned a bit wet for the second and third races (from the point of view that the best vantage point was an uncovered grandstand and I needed a bigger coat). A few photos uploaded to: http://www.byphotos.com/album/1961980

Went with someone I know who currently has a T-plate Octy as a runaround, in a very unusual dark metallic brown, never seen one in that colour before.

Sorry the GT ones are a bit dark; although it was murky, it wasn't that bad, I think I managed to upset something on the camera so they're rather underexposed. Perhaps water was getting in!
