Yeti black edition on my drive :)

Featured Replies

Very nice car mate, happy for ya.

Still not keen on the indoor version but yours is the nicest I've seen.

Looks nice, very nice.

I just ordered one, the same but with manual gearbox.

The specs say black edition has front and rear spoilers added - but can someone point out the rear spoiler to me, I'm struggling to see it?

Mine doesn't have one on the top of the hatch I wonder if they mean the bit below the rear bumper??

Just checked out the Skoda site and can't see anything that says it comes with a rear spoiler.

It says SE spec plus

  • Sport pack
  • 17" Matterhorn alloys
  • Amundsen sat nav with DAB
  • Metallic or pearl effect paint
  • Side Mouldings
  •
  • No rear or for that matter, front, spoilers.

If you are refering to this ""Black front spoiler and rear diffuser"", they are on all other models but in silver.

What kind of deals are folk getting on the Black Ed? Much more than regular SE?

OK so the info about the spoiler is from the finance site, so may be a copy and paste error from another model but:

"The Yeti Black Edition model takes the Yeti models design and outstanding functionality to another level.

It comes with a 2.0 TDI CR 140PS 4x4 engine (available with a choice of manual or DSG transmission) and specification including, 17” ‘Matterhorn’ alloy wheels, a front and rear spoiler, plus an Amundsen satellite navigation system with DAB."

There's certainly no difference from the regular yeti at the rear roofline. I assumed when I picked mine up that the 'spoliers' refer to the plastic skirting front and rear of the car. The rear appears to be a different moulding from the normal version. The side skirts are also different, which is why the regular mudflaps don't fit properly. The front, back and side mouldings are, I think, what Skoda euphemistically refer to as the 'sports pack'!

Thanks. I didn't think I saw spoilers.

Yeah, I was wondering about the 'sport pack' too
