Hi 

sorry for my bad English 

I'm from Egypt & I own Skoda Felicia 2000 Mk II 1.3  40kw 

my ignition coil is dead  i tried to find a new ignition coil but i couldn't find except for the fabia 1.4  it's the same shape & size  but the difference in the connector which i can modify to fit in my car 

the ignition coil for my car is "BERU ZSE039" & for the fabia is "BERU ZSE040"

the question here will it work fine or it will make problems  I heard -but I'm not sure- that it cause  minute disturbance in the engine firing so i need to be sure if it will work or will make problems

I guess from your post that your car is multi-point fuel injection model (Engine code: 135M), right?

at First I tried to find used one but I couldn't find one in a good condition + I don't trust used parts 

so I asked for a new one but I couldn't find  any except those  of the fabia 

after I talked to my mechanic he called many dealers & finally he found one & he installed it !
