I've been mailing these guys for 4 days now with no reply maybe cause I got my gtb2260 kit from somewhere else, i have spent a few bob with them though all im after is the silicone pipe needed to go off my gtb2260 to darksides hard pipes anyone got any links other than darkside??

I am sure when you buy the hard pipe kit, you specify which turbo and you get the silicone pipe included?

yes but I had a hybrid when I bought them still do until the weekend then its gtb time :)

Well, still, if you bought the hard pipe kit, I don't see why they wouldn't sell you the GTB silicone connector.  Is a little off as a sale is a sale, regardless.

I beg to differ, they have been nothing but helpful to myself. Even went out of there way and messaged me back gone 9pm over the xmas period when I had issues with a faulty release bearing and couldn't apoloigise enough for the inconvenience caused by the problem resulting in having to pull the gearbox out again. They refunded the money for the faulty part after sending it back AND sent a free 4bar map sensor for the hassle caused.

There in the process of moving so that could be the delay.

Instead of emailing why not try calling. My local indy garage can be quite poor at returning emails, sometimes taking ages. However if I need something urgently, I'll call them. I still use them because their service is fantastic, just their admin needs some work.

and being a m.o.t centre ourselves they went out of their way by there as supplying a faulty part they should have been responsible for the labour so they got off lightly by there

I wouldn't class myself as a fan boy Tom, I just feel negativity towards ANY company outweighs the positives people experience. Lots of people are very quick to jump on the hate bangwagon when a mistake/problem or customer service isn't upto usual standards they expect, yet many times plenty of people never post comments or there experiences when people go above and beyond to help them out.

If I were a betting man, and knowing the angle the GTB boost outlet points once fitted, I think you will need this bend to meet up with the hardpipe

http://www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk/products/darkside-57mm-2-25-45-degree-elbow-silicone-boost-hose.html

All depends if the gtb outlet pipe has been cut and re-angled.

The last gtb I fitted supplied by x-man had the outlet pipe cut and re-angled like I got the others done that I've fitted, so all you need is a 90degree silicone pipe.

All you need to know then is hard pipe size and gtb outlet size, then just type it in ebay :)

Is yours cut and re-angled Steve so it comes off the turbo straight?

Slow maybe, not very rude.....unless they mentioned something about your wife/mother last time you called them :D

Definitely call if you want something urgently, people just rely to much on email etc nowadays.....

I don't disagree that calling might be better in this instance but if they're having e-mail issues surely they should just put a note on their website or set up some form of 'out of office' system. It's clearly REALLY annoyed the OP, so he's venting in the media. It's a nightmare for customer service people because once the bad stuff is out there it's almost impossible to undo it.

I don't know, sounds a bit overblown to me. Not really an example of bad customer service is it, its certainly not like he's ordered something that hasn't arrived etc etc. - anyone reading this would know the difference, so no real reason to panic for that company IMO.

I've had similar with other companies, but haven't made a big deal about it, just give them a call to be honest and clear it up.

It might have been caught by a spam filter or anything who knows! You just can't beat a good old fashioned phone call or one to one in person I'm afraid.
