Add-a-circuit fuse box tap

Featured Replies

Hi,

Can anybody help with info on the cabin fuse box please?

I need 12V for a bike-rack number plate board with lamps, so I need at least 5 maps, maybe more. If I use an add-a-circuit fuse plug-in into the cabin fuse box, which slot should I choose?  How much current is available from the fuse panel?

Can't you use a tow plug?

The supply is for an after-market tow-bar socket and for an ultra-sound reversing aid.  The car is a 2006 LHD Octavia 2. I don't know if taking supply from the in-cabin fuse panel could upset Canbus. I suppose I may have to find a laborious way from the main fuse box in the engine compartment. I have seen this link, provided by an earlier Briskoda post. http://www.myturbodiesel.com/wiki/battery-removal-and-battery-shelf-removal-on-mk5-vw-and-audi/
