Waste of money in my opinion. Could just fit some Bora sport clocks or something and just as good, if not better.

If bora clocks fitted maybe.

I was looking on a polo website the other day and someone fitted some Passat clocks to the polo, don't know how well it worked out overall though.

They 100% fit, you just need to put them in the fsbia housing.

Just a random bora.

But you just need to swap the housing and get them coded or the immo deleted.

Cool, thanks for the info then, hopefully point someone in the right direction and get them fitted.

To my knowledge it's never been done successfully to retrofit other clocks, even the proper fabia maxi dot has always had issues regarding speed and fuel at least.

Chris some people got to be a sucker for punishment to go through that - so much work to do with so much risk for so little return.

 

I guess I could understand it if you already have the MFD1 but I don't really rate them anyway, they seem quite primitive compared to third party navs and couldn't really understand why anyone would seek them out over the alternatives (unless it came with the car, but then you'd already have maxidot and nav wouldn't you!!!)
