Upgrading Brakes Help

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I am looking to upgrade the brakes on my Skoda Fabia Mk1 vrs SE, from the standard 288mm to the 312mm setup.

I have purchased the calipers and carriers from a mk4 golf gti anniversary.

I just need to purchase disks and pads.

I am sure that these are the correct disks that I require, please correct me if I am wrong!

But I am unsure as to which pads I will need.

At a guess I think it is those, but again, I'm probably wrong!

I have seen some which wear sensors and some without and I am not entirely sure which I need and why.

I would just like the OEM pagid parts.

Can someone shed some light on this for me please.

I have had a good look through existing topics on the octy mk1 page and still couldn't find the answer I was looking for.

Many Thanks

Ben

The callipers that you have got are they in anyway similar to the octy vrs ?? And do they bolt straight on or do you need different carriers ??

Octy vrs ones are identical and are a direct bolt on.
