Featured Replies

Drove one last night.Looked nice and nice inside. It was the 2.0.

Floored it and err...hmmm....anyway,looked nice.(must stop driving quick skodas.I don't appreciate these sports cars otherwise) :)

The 2 litre is pony. A posemobile only. The 3 litre is pretty much the only one to have!

I know what you mean about quick skodas though. I've been test driving plent of cars recently and I still haven't found one that has the same ooooooh factor the octy when you jam your foot down!

Same goes for the 1.8 in the Z3.

Mmmmm there's a nice 3.4l Alpina Z4 in our local Alpina dealership... mmmmmm

Z4roadster out soon, with an M model. Not a huge bmw fan, but this looks irresistable. In top gear magazine and last weeks auto express.

There's a 2002 M5 here with 22k miles on the clock going at a price of 22,000 pounds :)

I hired one of these out in Germany, and drove it around the German/Austrian Alps. Not sure which one but it had a fair bit of go, and nice six cylinder sound, and much to my surprise you can get a Samsonite suitcase and a fair bit of other stuff in the boot. Apart from that and the zero lean cornering I wasn't that impressed (as if that's not enough : ), you can't drive it with the roof down at any more than 25 MPH unless you want your head blown off, and the in-gear acceleration was disappointing (must be too used to driving TD's), and you can't open the doors wide enough in a car park to get in or out of the thing without looking stupid. On the Autobahn the seemingly 'standard car of Bavaria' - the BMW 535/540 totally mullered it.
