BBS Alloys finally on my Citigo!

Featured Replies

So after a lot of negotiation and some hard work, my BBS alloys I picked up for £20 have been refurbished and balanced for the Citigo! As for fitting, not a spacer or sprigget was used and they slid right on! No rubbing either when on full lock so they're working well! I've attached some pictures too!

Not my cuppa but if you're happy that's all that matters. I wonder what a citigo would look like on 3sdm's? I'm tempted to throw some nicer alloys on mine when it arrives.

They'd be a nightmare to keep clean [emoji15]

And sell me yours for a steal, I like your thinking!!!

Oh and I quite like those alloys, I had a set very similar on my mk2 cavalier, but in standard alloy silver, and yes they were a pain in the ass to keep clean.

Very nice mate

I still think the 16 inch Serpens make the Citigo look much better. Can't belivw you can't get them any more in the uk.

I think a bigger size would have suited more, but if your happy keep them, are you keeping the old ones though? I think aftermarket wheels can devalue a car when it comes to resale

I'm keeping the old ones when it comes to giving it back! Yeah I'm happy with them and they're the matching set that came from the factory 23 years ago so they're probably worth something!

Vintage

The more I look at them the more I'm sure they are the same ones I had on my cavalier, in fact I think I scrapped the car with them still fitted in '96, they're probably mine!!!

Hyphons the only reason I stayed the same size is that I could keep the same tyres! And wizzi I contacted Volkswagen to find out the car they were fitted to and they are from a 1992 Red Mk2 Golf GTI 5dr, how weird is that!

I hate black alloys, would never have them ever, ever, ever.
