Hello Guys

 

My name is Jordan and I`m from Bulgaria.

 

In this topic i want to show you my project . Fabia 2 from 1.4 MPI to 1.8 Turbo engine.

Before i start , i would like to excuse myself if i made some mistakes , because my English is not the best.

 

So ,

 

I bought my Fabia in 2011 , it was a test vechisle and i take it at almost 5 000 km. At the beginning i started with some visual tuning.

 

1.

I get a pair of Bi-Halogen lights, which i painted them in Mat black:

I put in them Orange small lights. Also the front grill was painted Mat black.

 

2.

I get a 3 arrow black leather stearing wheel and an Amundsen Multimedia

 

3.

I get a pair of original Fabia 1 VRS Alloys , which were also painted in Mat Black.

 

Because the engine became too low for me at one moment i started thinking for more h.p. However i knew that this engine is usless to be upgraded , so started looking for the right 1.8 T engine. I wanted AUQ from Octavia Vrs , but in Bulgaria you cant find alot of VRS and none which you can buy for parts.

Thats why i get one from Audi , Engine code is ARY.

The nozzles are from S3 and the Turbine is hybrid one with K03S hot wheel and K04 Rotor wheel.

 

Now i will post chronologicaly some photos from the begining to the end.

For the electricity and all electrical compontets the only think that i understood was that the ARY engine becuase is a previous generation , not so many things are passing true the CAN , so almost each wire was re-installed , if i can say it that way, and checked if all components are communicating each other.

 

 

 

 

 

So , after the car started whit the new heart , we started checking and finishing most of the things.

The battery was moved into the trung

Because we noticed that the space under the front roof is smal ,but i want to make the a specific room for the intake.

By the end of the month i will create a "shield" for the Intake

 

I took the idea from our colleague with the Black Fabia sport from Greese and put a second light inside the car , in the middle of the roof

 

Also i get the Fabia sport seats , which at that moment are red from monte carlo , but i will upholster them with black

 

Something that i`ve forgot to mention is that the exaust is 63 mm

Hm i am trying to uploade more photos but i get This Upload Failed.

 

However i will explain what else was made by the moment and will try to upload photos later.

 

So i have also installed an exhaust silenser.

I got a boost pressure metter and Oil Pressure meter , which will be installed by the end of the month.

I got a pari of EIBACH pro-kit  springs. I hope soon to be able to complete the suspension.

Right Now the car is still with the Stock soft , but soon it will be remaped. The expected results with this Hardware is 190 H.P on the wheels.

 

Well This is for the moment . I will try to keep you guys up to date with the project.

How is the car running now? did you uprgrade the clutch and brakes yet?

Quiet fancy building a mk2 when the initial cost of the car comes down to my level

Benjen. You maybe right , but if you look the price in Pounds per your fee. Here in Bulgaria the cost of Fabia Mk2 VRS is much more then the project cost at that level.

 

32Kofdata. The clutch is stock for 1.8 T, because i still drive it as everyday car. Soon i hope to be able to have another everyday car and this one will be only for weekends However the flywheel was changed with one from Golf GTI ABF Engine. The breaks are the next step but first i want the snow to melt down so i can put my 17'' , because at the moment i am with the stock 14'' and can not upgrade the breaks.At the moment the car is still with bad remap. I have scheduled time for re-mapping in the beginning of April. However there is nothing in common with the old Engine

Man i was always wondering , because Thessaloniki is not so far from Sofia , can i come to see you Fabia and do you know if i will have big problems with this setup. Also should i be very careful driving in Greece ?

I fancied doing a Mk2 1.9TDI build, but initial purchase cost would have wiped out a lot of mod money :(

Indeed Thessaloniki is not far - many friends visit Bulgaria for work related matters. Driving in Greece is safe, if you don't brake the law speeding, going through red lights etc then you are just fine. I see loads of BG plates in Thessaloniki.

Thats nice , i hope during the spring and after the remap to be able to come . I would love to see your car live

I am looking for a replacement of the swing stereo of my fabia mk2, can you suggest a web site I can buy an Amundsen Multimedia (on decent condition if its second handed)?

Well i get mine 2-nd hand from OK2 brought in Bulgaria from Germany. Check this site. http://skodateile.cz/index.php?pg=products&menu=%C5%A0koda . However if i were you i will change the swing with Columbus from Superb. It fits
